Can anyone help me? I just want to know if theres someone out there that was born oitside of US (Like Me) to Parents who were not Citizen at the time of my birth and later moved to USA and now im wondering d i really do need the Naturalization Certificate or Not.. Is the Passport really enough for "MY" Situation.

I was in the same situation and got approved with the photocopy of the passport.

US Passport is conclusive proof of US citizenship, period.

However, if Naturalized.. as the OP is, Item 13 of the I-130 Petition does ask for information that is specific to a Naturalization document.

Perhaps that may be why OP wants to know about the Natz Certificate requirement. I don't know if a filer can reference his\her US passport for Item 13 question.

Yes this is what im talking about the I 130 asks for a Nat Certificate but it takes a few months to get it.

I was naturalized through my parents and never got a certificate. Just sent USCIS colored copies of all passport pages with something on it and it was approved.

Thank you so much :)

Don't worry about it. If you don't know the info, trust me, the USCIS knows and can look it up themselves.

Yeah youre right. So I guess I can file the papers without it since they have that info to prove im US Citizen.

He meant that he didn't sent blank pages. In truth you're supposed to send the entire US passport.

Yes. You're delaying what you don't need to delay. Send the paper work with your US passport. That document proves you're a US citizen.
