I'm not sure I understand your question. It it asking how you met each other.... how the petitioner met the beneficiary is surely the same as how the beneficiary met the petitioner?

For example, we wrote "we met at a summer camp in Michigan in June 2013"

Not sure how it could only apply to one of us.

The petitioner is the one who files the 129f petition. The question refers to the meeting in person between the petitioner and the beneficiary.

I got intrigued by this thread and reading it, specifically you mentioned 34a

I'll be honest, we used a lawyer for this entire process which is funny because we still did all the work, but, technically.. they are the ones who filled out all the forms such as I-129F, etc

so I looked at what they wrote for the 34a "Please see attached letters"

which makes sense because we basically wrote our relationship story/etc

anyhows just sharing this so people would see what a lawyer/etc would write

Petitioner is filling out the form, but it's asking how petitioner met beneficiary,

which is basically saying how did you two meet. They want to know how you

met at the beginning, and when you met physically in person.

So it's referring to both beneficiary and petitioner.

It doesn't really matter who writes the answer to that question as long as it's answered. Like I said, we said "We met..." when answering it. It is sufficient for you to provide the answer by yourself, yes.
