Only stamp that she can stay for 1 year

That's the balikbayan visa Rissa that RizandDave are speaking of . Good for one year and can be renewed but you have to fly out of the country and return before 364 days elapes. Go on 365th day and you pay airport taxes if not then you are overstaying and the meter kicks in big time.

A U.S. passport minor holder no need for cfo right? Only ECC from bureu of immigration? She already had ecc before when we visit hongkong

Correct. CFO is only for Filipinos immigrating ... anyone with a U.S. passport is a USC ... even if dual citizenship. You can avoide the ECC issue by the child being a dual citizen and having both passports. Pretty much too late to address that now.

Is the ECC only 1 time and no need to get another one when traveling international ?

Actually, the ecc that you got for yr daughter begore is what they call a 'registration'. Thats for foriegn passplrt holders that is first time to depart from the philippines. If you got one before, no need to do that again.

i asked if your daughter was given balikbayan, 1 yr stay here because she really is entitled to that being a daughter of a filipino citizen.

If yr daughter stayed here, since arrival from HK, for a year AND MORE than 6 months. Then she needs to update her stay and get another ECC - Now, this ECC that im talking about is an exit clearance for foreigners who stayed in the country for more thAn 6 months. Yr daughter is considered a foriegner here since she is not holding dual citizenship.

In yr case, lets say yr daughter arrived jun 2012. Her balikbayan is up to Jun 2013. And you will be leaving feb 2014, she stayed 8 months more. Then she needs to update her stay and get an ECC - this is an emigration exit clearance NOT like the first one that you got.

So theres 2 kinds of ECC:

1. The registration that you got for yr daughter when you went to Hk because it was her first time to depart using foriegn passpport, and

2. ECC -emigration clearance cert, for foriegners who stayed for more than 6 months.

For balikbayan, the start of yr 6 months counting is the day after yr 1 year expire. For tourist, 6 months counting start from the day you arrived.

Actually there are diff kinds of ECC or exit clearance or emigration clearance cert. But this 2 is the most common. Other are for residents and foriegn workers here, and it would be a long discussion :)

Having dual passport will have a big advantage for yr daughter, she can have indifinite stay here in the Philippines. Not only 1 year and no need to update or pay any fees to the immigration if she wants to stay more than 1 year here. And no ecc :)

Almost correct. With the dual citizenship or simply Philippines citizenship if the stay is a year or more there will be travel tax required when exiting the country. Keep the stays to one day short of a year.. no exit tax.

She got here ECC before August 2014 Bc that's the time we went to HK and also August she got a stamp for 1yr stay, so now she still need a new ECC the one u said the emigrant exit clearance?

Here stamp will be 1yr this year of August .

You went to hk aug 2014 and cane back the same month. So i suppose her balikbayan visa will expire aug 2015.

No need for ECC (the 2nd ECC) ..

Actually, the immigration officer will no longer ask for yr previous ECC or the 'registration' once he/she sees that yr daughter went out of the country already.

Yup Bc we only stayed in HK for 5 days, so she doesn't need to get ECC again ( 2nd ECC)? Her 1yr stamp will expire this August 2015.

So need to paperworks to do for my daughter?
