If you look at February Visa Bulletin , the cut off date for F2B Philippine is 22 Feb 04

Here is the link http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/law-and-policy/bulletin/2015/visa-bulletin-for-february-2015.html

So the wait is probably longer , with 2014 PD i think you will have to wait a lot longer.

Total waiting time for F2B Philippines is 10 years. If your petitioner becomes a US citizen, you can have your petition upgraded to F1, taking off a year from the waiting period.

Not nice to hijack another person's thread.

Look at the Visa Bulletin and his category.

You have not given enough info to give you a correct answer.

category: F2A

Priority date: aug 30,2013

case complete at NVC: Mar 26, 2014

Aaron2010!!why u r so mean??if u cant if u dont have a good answer better to keep quiet thats not a nice way to reply

How was I mean by 1) pointing out a social no-no, 2) pointed her to the VB, and 3) told her she has not provided enough info to answer her question?

What advice or answer did you provide? None.

Tone is incredibly hard to discern from the written word. Your interpretation is not my intentions.

Did you see how getting more information allowed me to give her an answer? How have you helped?

With retrogression in the F2a category, it's incredibly hard to guess. Most likely, his PD will be current in the next six months given the current PD is May 8, 2013, and it's moving about 3 weeks for every month.

OP's (rhea_03) category is F2B (unmarried sons/daughters over 21 of LPR) thus the hijacking.

Hijacking often creates confusion and most likely diverts the topic into something totally not related to the OP's inquiry.
