That sounds good! I think the more information, the better!

I wouldn't worry about not hearing from NVC in 30 days, we received notification that USCIS had approved our petition on July 30, 2014 and on September 10, 2014, the NVC informed us via email that they had received our petition ... so, more than 30 days between those two steps.

My big piece of advice to you is that AS SOON as you pay your AoS fee (which should be the day after you hear from NVC, for us it was September 11, 2014), you send you AoS and financial documents and your IV application with supporting documents. That will start the 60 day reviewal time ASAP. Again, you can see a list of things I included when I sent all these documents together here: https://spousevisausa.wordpress.com/category/step-3/. Careful that everything is properly filled out though, we had to send in corrections and it delayed the process about 2 months!

Good luck!

Hi, we never picked an "agent" as once you get your case number, you can read the line whether you should pick one or not, made the choice to me easy, no agent. Both of us live overseas. I got the AOS fee and the IV invoice fee available immediately.

You're welcome. :) Let me just add to that, when you log in, you choose who you are, applicant or otherwise, on the log-in page. When I picked "no agent" they still had me fill in my email, and one step later, also my mailing address. So they still know where things should go, even if you pick no agent.

btw, we also want to move to Florida. Sooooooo tired of dark winters. lol

So you used your mailing address where you are living now?

Yeah, our mailing address in Sweden. I hope FL isn't full when we arrive ;). Before Sweden, we lived in North Carolina. I miss the it so much, so we google Earth'd Florida and picked a town. I'm ready to live a little again.

Do you definitely need the last 3 US Tax returns? I only ask because it appears I only have copies of 2012 & 2013. 2014 hasn't been filed yet but I do have the tax docs showing what my earnings were for 2014. I am also including my last 5 months of paystubs as well as our two bank accounts with all of our funds showing the balances.

Page 6, Item 7 of the Instructions for Affidavit of Support:

"You must provide either an IRS transcript or a photocopy from your own records of your Federal individual income tax return for the most recent tax year. If you believe additional returns may help you to establish your ability to maintain sufficient income, you may submit transcripts or photocopies of your Federal individual income tax returns for the three most recent years. "

I submitted tax records for the past 3 years because they were available and I thought, might as well! I also submitted 5 or 6 months of pay-stubs. In your case, 2 years of tax records, 5 months of pay-stubs and 2 bank account balances is MORE than enough. Good luck!
