Hi guys.

I finally receive interview letter on the 24th with interview date march 9th :dancing:

One thing confuse me through. After read through the U.S. Consulate Guangzhou interview instructions, it asked to to schedule a interview date using cgifederal.secure.force.com, but I thought NVC already schedule a interview date for me? Do I just ignore that scheduling step?

And for anyone who is familiar with U.S. Consulate Guangzhou interview steps, do I still need go to cgifederal.secure.force.com to register a document pick-up location? And it could be a big help if anyone can list the steps after received interview letter for me.

Thank you.

casefile # start with GZO or GUZ ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

If you have a GZO case number, ignore the scheduling step, the interview has already been scheduled.

You do need to register a document pick-up location.

Yes, I do have a GZO case number.

Thanks, so for document pick up location, can they send to your home address? or they send to a local bank?

Thank you.

ok - so you have a GZO # -

interview date set by NVC,

and soon (if not already) you will have an interview letter.

you must register an account over at ustraveldocs.com/cn and set up a document delivery location, generate a document delivery coversheet [pdf file] , taking this in on interview day.

It's always a CITIC Bank location. Always.

Ah, icic, yes I got the interview letter.

Somehow the account was already registered at ustraveldocs.com/cn, but the location was wrong, it was set as hong kong, I have to change that.

So, all I need to do before the interview date, is medical exam, and generate a document delivery coversheet?

And when it's interview date, all I need bring are medical examination, interview letter, document delivery coversheet, and documents I submit to NVC?

Thanks

yup.

but i have to repeat this (you've read it once, I hope, in the interview letter already)

Everything submitted to NVC (except the DS-261 and DS-260), foreign spouse needs to bring it all in for interview day. Need USCitizen's original signature on the I-864, need a set of original 'white books' , need certified copies of uscitizen's divorce decree (/s ) if any. The rest can be photocopies or stuff printed out from email attachments.

Foreign spouse can also bring more evidence of a bonafide marriage (those 6 things listed in the I-130 instructions) but it may or may not be looked at.

Thanks, ya I already prepare those :)

One question though, on the cgifederal.secure.force.com, I can not register a new account, then I read online, some people say it might already created for you, so I did a password reset, and after I login in, the account they created for me, the location it's set at hongkong, do you know how do I change that?

Don't think so, I try to update my personal profit, set the location to China, but the system still set hong kong for some reason.

Where can I find the phone number? I been trying to find it, but don't see it anywhere ..

Thank you

Funny, so I thought about using a different email address to create a account, and it worked.

So my question is, is it ok to use a different email address that I registered to NVC to create the cgi account?

Thanks.

yes, is ok.

cgi ties passport # and email together. these 2 things, supposed to be unique combo.

Sweet, thanks a lot.

Saved me the trouble to find the cgi phone number, which I can't find it anywhere

I will just use the account I created using a different to register a pick up location for the passport.

Thank you.
