I am a US citizen who is petitioning my Kenyan Spouse for an Immigrant Visa. I have just received the I797 Notice of action that the I130 has been approved. It says they will contact my spouse within 30 days. Do I need to provide them with a contact number for him? When will we send in the paper work from Sponsor and other needed evidence? What questions do they ask him at the interview? Will I be interviewed as well?

What are the remaining steps in his visa process and how much longer can it take before he is here with me?

No, don't worry about this contact with the spouse, it rarely happens.

It says they will contact my spouse within 30 days. Do I need to provide them with a contact number for him? No no contact number if you set up an email they will talk to you via email. When will we send in the paper work from Sponsor and other needed evidence? You still have a ways to go, it takes them about 20-30 days to receive your file at NVC from then you will be notified in stages on what the next step is to do. Take is slow and just check you email. Be patient! What questions do they ask him at the interview? I am going to upload our review for everyone to see so check "Reviews" Will I be interviewed as well? The person given the visa will be the one reviewed.

What are the remaining steps in his visa process and how much longer can it take before he is here with me? How long.....you still have months to go! Hang in there...
