As a new green card holder moving to the US from Canada, do I pay duty and sales tax on my car or just sales tax? Where do I find clear documentation on this? I see sometimes exempt ... Next question. How would I get the duty paid refunded. After Oct 15 a broker is required to import personal car and no one seems to know what to do.
