When can I get appointment for US Passport

I have my Oath Ceremony this coming Friday, is it possible to already get an appointment for the US Passport (of course scheduled for after the oath ceremony) or do i need to wait until I have taken the oath?

You can schedule the appointment already, with the presumption you'll be a USC at the time.

FYI, if you can't get an appointment for any reason, consider coughing up $184.95 at the post office and get it expedited, with overnight delivery. I renewed my passport a couple of weeks ago and had it back in 7 days.

Here is a link to the application page. You can fill it out and save it to your HD.
