new cat has upper respiratory infection, sneezing, coughing, weepy eyes, trouble breathing and fever. was in ICU briefly and put in oxygen chamber. :( now back home and diarrhea is worse than ever, probably due to the antibiotics. i really really have the worst luck with cats. back to vet tomorrow to check for dehydration.

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Sold $Many worth of pre-owned toilet seats, whee man.

Stopped at an ES on way to casa and got the following, see man:

-- new can of Lysol disinfectant spray = $1, deal man

-- unopened quart bottle of hydrogen peroxide = $1, deal man

-- nearly full can Deep Woods Off! = $1, deal man

-- battery-operated rotating Arm & Hammer toothbrush = $1, deal man

-- full pack of Many (2x2x2x2x2+[2x2x2x2]) wet-wipes = $1, deal man

-- manual toothbrush & new package of Many elbow-straws = $1, deal man

-- Total = $Many-&-a-half with tax, whee man.

Only a few anemic-looking GSs on weekend itinerary so far, hoping for more man.

Mini-B. in grand mood, glee wee man.

Mrs. T-B. had gone out with amigas this morn, she man.

They went to a beauty salon, dollars-fly-out-window man.

Mrs. T-B. spent $Many ($2x2x2x2x2+[2x2x2]), egad man.

Got hair completely straightened, pretty she man.

We are inclined to return her VD gift (a $Many gift card to Kohl's), retribution man.

After considerable research & testing, Mama T-B. bought a new vehicle, senior she man.

'Tis a 201Many Honda CRV with approximately 0 miles on it, she man.

Per initial reports, she played hardball and won, no $urpri$e man.

We are highly impressed, si man.

We are inclined to offer her membership in the exclusive Really Cheap Gringos club, si man.

She did this all herself as a Manygenarian, octo she man.
