So my husband tells me that he doesn't want our kids going to college in Denmark because he is afraid they would stay there and not come back and he wants to be able to hang out with them as adults.

I guess what is good for the goose is not good for the gander.

He didn't want them to be sissies......

And, he wants to be near the boy when he brings home his Japanese school girl friends...

My compounded medication cream cost $150 for 120mg while generic brand from local pharmacy would have cost $200 for 30mg.

The drug insurance isn't covering the compounded medication.

I feel so broke.

Stevelar, give me some of your powerball jackpot money!

That sucks Merry. What medication compound or what is it treating. My oldest has psoriasis his creams where expensive too, he now is off all creams but one and takes methotrexate and that is awesome.

A major insurance company investigator just brought us a whole lotta donuts and coffee. One of my guys inadvertently helped them uncover a huge fraud case.

And if you guys were here, I'd gladly share it.

I just ate 2 heart shaped Boston cremes, and I'm feeling kinda fat.....

Is his psoriasis bad?

Is his psoriasis bad?

It is, we had him do steroid shots, tons of steriod cream, and light treatments. When we moved here the doctor took him off all the steriods because he was on so many their was no point to them. The methotrexate is a once a week thing and cleared him up pretty good at first. But if he misses a week like just recently he flairs up bad, it's even in his ears. He will be starting the supplements that I have soon, ppl have had good results with them.

No, he doesn't, but working class Danish men from Jutland tend to be manly enough. Part of it is that he is afraid that if his soon gets a good education either here or there, that they won't be able to relate. I think that is his cultural upbringing and there being a huge divide between the two. He doesn't get that like my family, in which some people are multi-millionaires and some are blue collar, that it doesn't really impact the dynamics.

Whoa.....Trophie, what's up with Dutch's people man.......ask him, "yo what up dawg"......

The combined population of Scandinavia is 20.5 million (that is Iceland, Greenland, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark). The population of New York state is close to 20 million. They yield importance and political power only in their own heads. Denmark yields even less political power than Sweden and Norway - it is resource poor in every category except pigs.

1- he's better off going to college here anyway. Didn't we have this conversation already? (With brat?)

2- Whadahela you taking about, isn't Denmark full of chicken? (Real chicken, as in poultry)

The office girl is haphazardly offering everyone that walks in coffee and donuts now.....

1. College in Scandinavia would be free and I believe as long as our kids are citizens, they'd be eligible for a monthly stipend towards living expenses. Plus, there is the additional problem that they must spend at least 1-2 years in Denmark before age 22 and be fluent in the language to retain citizenship.

2. Pigs are worth more than chickens, aren't they?

1- there they can learn how to build a modern pig sty

2- well I'm sure pigs are worth more. But I think Denmark has like a gazillion chickens no? Like 100 trillion of them....

Google "the chicken tax" :) I bet you've never heard of it.

It still exists today, tho it no longer have anything to do with chicken anymore....

See? Denmark= good chicken.....
