GM Trucks- PITA

I believe it is a known issue and under warranty too. I was way more pissed when it stalled with less than 10k miles on it, also due to a known problem.

My husband didn't even brush off the truck this morning. Thanks a lot #######. I'm kind of debating whether to walk the several blocks and risk falling and not being able to walk for weeks (or months) or risk the truck stalling there and back.

problem is, there's a lot of "Known issues" with these trucks. My truck has a lot of "known issues" doesn't make the truck any good. I love the Yukon, but mechanically, it's a piece of #######. Just like I loved my Benzs. Doesn't change the fact that they're pieces of craps.

Whats the problem anyway? you have any codes?

I take back my ####### comment at the husband, he did brush it off, it just snowed in the meantime and he did volunteer to go in late and take the little one to school, but I declined.

It was a nice and warm day for walking anyway.

It is likely the TPS, seems to line up with the symptoms and messages. Seems I should have gotten a letter about it while I was away in Denmark since I have a V8 and to let me know they were extending the warranty on the part.

in the case of the Yukon, the TPS is permanently attached to the Throttle body. And the entire assembly was replaced, 2 or 3 times.

Then there was the Accelerator petal position sensor, that was replaced, twice. MAF sensor always need to be cleaned....And that was replaced at least once.

Thank heavens I have an OBD scanner and I know how to do the work....

What, the Winter Weather Advisory All Day, huh ma'am?

Chipotle, delicious Chipotle.

The majority of days have a winter weather advisory. I only pay attention now to the ones that say "imminent threat to life" and "do not be fooled by road conditions in town."
