But your SIL will love you if you dun visit...

She was under the mistaken impression that everything was alright with us because I was knocked up.

I corrected that mistake thankfully.

I think it is more me that has the problem rather than the other way around. I'm a very unforgiving unyielding type of person.

Forgiveness is a weird concept. If someone has changed their pattern of behavior and seems remorseful, then we can move past it, but to just forgive? No.

It is hard picking a country and coordinating travel plans and such. It will be nice to focus on your mother's healing, though.

I don't think he really cares that much. To him, home is wherever we are. He is very adaptable, a trait we do not share.

Me? I intentionally knocked tiff up.....

And, Trophie sure likes to hold a grudge.....

Interesting timing. I could say the same of the conception of my daughter though as well.

It is why I am not a doormat. I'll forgive (well, not forgive, but rather ignore) my mother things because she has done quite a lot for me and I do genuinely think she tries her best and is a good person. Other family, not so much. I've even cut off aunts just for associating with my father.

I hope you have researched about the possibility of getting PR for your hubs should you decide to move back to Singapore 'forever'.

Singapore men are already having a hard time getting PR for foreign wives without degree.

I imagine it would be even tougher for Singapore women with foreign husbands.

we aren't gonna apply for PR right away, too many variables still. we are going to apply for an LTVP+ first and then later on once we have decided for sure where we want to live, maybe then we'll apply for his PR.

omg i will be back in time for CNY bakkwa!
