Regardless. I don't think the subsidies are going to be struck down.

But if it does. it will have riveting effects on the states with their own exchanges as well (Sooner or later) as these subsidies exact a toll on the 14 states coffers....Those states are going to wish that they jumped on the bandwagon with the other 34....

Whatever the case may be, this whole issue isn't going away anytime soon.....

The weird thing about MN, is that like CT, their medicaid income limits are pretty high and they have a mostly state funded medicaid alternative for people not medicaid eligible, like new immigrants and parents who earn too much. I'm not sure how hard they are going to get hit, to be honest, there are only about 37k enrollees in ACA health plans with APTC in the whole state.

What might have to happen is a switchover in states to accept a system in which people with 133%-400% FPL will have to be covered under a state funded healthcare scheme with monthly copays depending on income. I suspect it is probably cheaper than the ACA subsidies.

my mom, whom i flew 10,000 miles to look after, just told me that she's disappointed i'm not "the daughter of (her) dreams". now she's upset that it made me cry and she's crying, and her eye is getting puffy and if there's a complication with her eye recovery, it'll be my fault. i don't know how things suddenly escalated to this point. :\

she added, "even if you're not the girl of my dreams, you're the girl of someone else's dream, aren't you?" as if that makes it better...

she worked on this line for about 4 months,

and finally had the time to deliver it, face to face.
