We went to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, All-inclusive resort The bavaro beach is nice, miles and miles of walking/running on the beach We saw the heart shape coral reefs while parasailing.

Too early to go to Costco now.....

<sigh> a frustrating start to a Saturday. Can't get ###### done already......

had a nice trip to Costco yesterday, filled up 3 vans - 2 minivans and my sprinter.

No electronics bought, so I'm happy.

argh i went to bed at 5pm and now i'm wide awake at 1 in the morning. nothing good on tv...

Going to learn how to play D&D with friends from work. I am officially more geeky than I was a week ago.

i always hated that game. My son played it, so I would get out with him on the weekends for the day-long games and play along. Sure, we had fun, he never learned how much I hated it, even when he was a DM at the rice owl-con games.

I do like Traveller, very much. Haven't played it in years. Currently have a Dark Souls book that I'll never use.

I had a great deal of fun today playing D&D. Since I like the people at my work (most of them) it was fun and social. :)

Omg I finally got to sit down. Been busy with putting together the birthday cake. Can't believe my baby will be 1 a few hours after midnight. :cry:

I have one more part to do on the cake, still need to get the laundry done :(

and what did you do with your hair? I know you need 4 or 5 hours to properly handle all, from the cleaning to the oiling to the brushing to the rolling, so - any news of hair work?

Now it's a phone call waking me up......

look, i learned mandarin first. then cantonese. then some thing in singapore - i thought it was hokkien.

as to fook language from the fujians - does it matter to me? no - as the only way I run into fooks as densely-grouped as you find is if/when i go to chinatown in houston.

and i don't go to chinatown in houston anymore.

they aren't as 'dense' in any other part of town. I'm happy for it.
