Steve - you've inspired me to put a backgammon set on my wishlist for the next holiday. I remember my nanny had one and we had one or two around the house, but they must have gone missing over the years.

why wait?

bonus points for finding an old set at an estate sale, for 5 bucks.

made in usa, excellent wood and hinges and fasteners.

don't save up to buy new chinese #######, aye?

if next holiday = 'Easter' - well, that's coming up soon.

1. We cannot stand it, oj nie. Of all people to blow P-math, Niki-B, ma'am!

2. What about studying P-math as a refresher course, huh ma'am?

P-Math, as regurgitated by TBoneTX, is increasingly a waste of bandwith.

I don't go to estate sales and they aren't popular around here and even if they were, you wouldn't be getting a deal.

It isn't a saving up issue, but rather a "my relatives always ask me for a wish list for Christmas and I never know what to put on it" issue.

Technically, the next holiday in our sights is probably St. Patrick's Day, followed by the Spring Equinox. Neither of those is really gifting occasions for adults, though.

I'm in agreement. No more "Polish" math.

Nah - he's still at home. During the last Gump Visit, Gump dropped off half a kilo of Gump-skin dander, carefully collected into a mason jar over the last 6 months, and sprinkled most in Steve's Man-Cave bathroom. He's been quite ill since then.
