driver is retarded. Typical Fook. He owns a house, but has minimum liability coverage. Opens himself up for liability.

Classic case of being under insured

And now, it's going to haunt him.

You guys know that when you have something to lose, don't have minimum liability on your cars, right?

I have maximum, plus umbrella...

Monthly payments for 73k shouldn't be much. Our monthly is like 1155 for a 205k house. Rent at our old place (1 bedroom, 850sqft) was 1200/month. Sure it had a pool and gym but now we have 1632 sqft and it's ours! We can play music loud or work on vehicles and grow veggies. Yay!!!

Bragger.......

You've got more stuff to lose.

I've got max, but not umbrella. Sad thing is that it isn't that much more expensive. I pay around $90/month to insure both cars.

Maybe my misunderstanding, but I thought it you were sued, they couldn't seize your primary residence as an asset?

The term eludes me at the moment. Having brain fat. Crying baby.....

But it varies state to state.

A certain amount of your home is protected. Not all of it. 50k of it in some states. NY included. So, yeah, you have to protect yourself from predatory lawsuits.....
