We went to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, All-inclusive resort The bavaro beach is nice, miles and miles of walking/running on the beach We saw the heart shape coral reefs while parasailing.

I've been busy, running around getting last minute things I need for the 1st. Lucas will be one, I can't believe how fast time has gone by, and no I'm not having another! If I was 10yrs heck even 5 yrs younger then maybe :P

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Sunday report, see man:

Awoke in more back-pain, must re-nuke tonight man.

Did not leave the casa at all, perfect Sunday for Many'rd time in a row, whee man.

Read newspaper, played with Mini-B., read it and wee man.*

*Worth a +1, see man.

Started laundry late, after noon, Mrs. T-B. not having helped with necessary organization, no she man.

Finished laundry (Many [2+2+1] loads) at Many:Many p.m., just before late TV news sigh man.

'Twas Many (2x2x2x2x2x2+[2x2x2x2] degrees F. outside, run the air conditioner man.

Took aspirin and mowed lawn, front & back, si & si man.

Really needed it, si man (the aspirin and the mowing, si man).

Not too many leaves, no man.

Not too much lawn-grass, no man.

Much weed-like growth, which typically presages springtime grass-growth, experience man.

Used Many (2+2) sweatbands, sweat man.

Discovered Many (2+1) hills of hormigas del fuego in back yard, fire ants man.

One hill was huge, high-rise condominium for hormigas man.

Nuked all with Amdro, die suckers man.

Got glancing bite from one, die sucker man.

After job, blew nose, snot man.

Snot included macromolecules of leaves, weeds, et al., inhalation man.

Got nap (on heating-pad) with cat after showering, good hour we miu zzz man.

Around sundown, cold front began approaching, dark clouds and wind man.

By end of late TV news, temps almost halved, to Many (2x2x2x2x2+[2x2x2x2] degr. F, brrr man.

Monday supposed to completely suck, raw cold wind rain yuck man.

Made first Many (2+1) lunches for week, now job of husband sigh man.

Everybody else asleep, she wee miu man.

Cat if awake prep zzz man.

Mornin', Commie-babe and all others with refulgent +1 inventories!

Train just went through town and didn't use its horn until it was past town. That is seriously dangerous around here because many of the crossings don't have lights and none of them have gates that come down.
