Unfortunately, there's about 50 million fooks roaming around the streets of NY right now.

And the criminals know that the fooks have money on them. They become victims of crime.

I need to tote around the pistola everywhere I go....

Who is robbing the Fooks?

If the Fooks are flashing their cash or jewellery, then they are asking for it.

By now, the thugs learned by now that the Chinamen walk around with a lotta cash around CNY. The burglaries and robberies stats spikes around this time of year like Christmas time.

Unfortunately, the changing demographics of my neighborhood brings the crime with it. And so, I'm forced to be more vigilant.

Maybe because my mother's hobby was house shopping or maybe it was all the places I had seen when working at a real estate office, but I had pretty much picked out this house online (and a couple of others in town just to be sure), flew here, saw it and knew right away it was the one...

Besides some irritating things, I do love this house.

We loved about 6 houses and put offers in on them as well. The market is for sellers here, unlike where you are apparently.

But I'm glad we have this one. I certainly could have made the others home as well.

I don't know if anyone deserves to be robbed; unless they're a thief themselves.

I didn't realize before we moved that most houses were not on the MLS (we saw some of those too), but also that a lot of people only sell their houses on FB and to other people in town and they go quickly if they are good!

I'm actually not sure we could have gotten a more perfect house for us location-wise. All the neighboring houses are in the same shape, but our house is cuter than a lot of them, at least from the outside.

No one should be robbed, but I kind of feel like illegal immigrants are robbing us all.... and by being illegal and the circumstances that go with it, they do make themselves easy targets.

My intent was to make fun of people's shortcomings so I can feel better about myself. But I'm quite proud of myself so I really dun have to make fun of you. But still, it's kinda funny.....

we put an offer on a place today. i won't be too optimistic since its more realistic that it is going to take a few months at minimum. it is a nice place though. two story townhouse-style condo, has a deck on the upper level and a little yard on the lower one. there's also a nice little entryway. it's going for $69,900. there was another unit in the same condo going for $900 less and it had broken doors, drawings on the wall, no shelving or doors on the cabinets, old rusty appliances, gross buildup around the tub, etc. now to wait and see...
