So I went to the cinema to see some Oscar movies last night.

I saw American Sniper, Birdman, The Imitation Game and two Polish movies: Ida & Joanna.

IMHO Michael Keaton or Benedict Cumberbatch should get an award for their playing, cause both of them were brilliant :D

Like I said, I don't like to brag about my kid. But you guys aren't here to see the stuff that she does. It's difficult for me not to spoil the craap outta her.....

Kids can be really amazing :)

My older nephew usually is clueless and forgetful.

Last Monday my sister asked him how is this possible that he lost all his crayons.

And his honest answer? "Dunno. I wasn't there." :P

And yesterday my BIL had to take my sister to the hospital and 5 am, because she didn't feel well and they had to leave their sleeping 6yo and 5yo at home.

He left a note at the door, addressed to the older one. The note said: "Patrick, I took your mom to the hospital. I'll be back at 7am. Take care of Peter."

He was back at 6:45, and Patrick was already half dressed when he got there (they got up before 7 on week day, mostly waking up all by themselves).

So he knew what to do, he understood what has to be done and didn't panic.

It made me so proud :)

You know, I write to my daughter, and I keep the writings in a box for her to read after I'm not around anymore ......

The journal starts "You were born on a sunny Saturday afternoon......"

Hopefully, it'll be many years before she gets to read it lol

I must be getting Darkinsons disease.....

I kept thinking it's Friday, and I'm like...."why isn't the indices moving?"

Then I saw the thing that reads "Stock markets are closed", then I'm like..."why are the markets closed on a Friday?"

and whodahel says that 13 million illegal immigrants are "good for this country"?

Were they good for the country where they came from?

it's a mantra of the Democratic National Convention. Since 2005.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
