We went to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, All-inclusive resort The bavaro beach is nice, miles and miles of walking/running on the beach We saw the heart shape coral reefs while parasailing.

I never heard of the rule of not clipping nails during new year.

My mother and grandmother went by the following weekly rules for clipping nails:

Cut them on Monday, cut them for health

On Tuesday, cut them for wealth

On Wednesday, cut them for news

On Thursday, a new pair of shoes

Cut them on Friday, cut them for sorrow

On Saturday, meet your true love tomorrow

Cut them on Sunday and the devil will be with you all week.
