And neither is living in a city, especially one in China.

Practically every pregnant woman I know has been exposed to paint fumes. I know your culture is different, but it really is very very low risk. I don't live in a culture or a marriage in which it would be acceptable for me to lay on my ### and not participate in these activities, nor would I want to.

I'd like to know which sad sack came up with "no pain, no gain" and introduce them to real, unimaginary, unfiltered pain, so they could apologise ... to me, in person.

There are a few Singaporeans in Minnesota (Facebook group) But we never meet up.

And they eat most of the shark and put the other parts to use. Most of the shark fin is just cut off the shark and then they are thrown back into the sea to drown. Very wasteful.

I have less of an issue with "wasteful" than with inhumane. We don't cut a leg off a cow for burger and leave it to die. We don't cut the wings off chickens and leave them to die. We bonk fish upside the head and put them on ice, we don't cut off their fins and leave them to die.

Not to mention many shark species are protected because they do NOT reproduce quickly.
