What's the avg new car loan? I lease....

I think I read it was just shy of 28,000.

*shrugs* I've never had a car loan. I'm just going to pretend my student loan is one, though.

Ah my thuggy citibank exec friend called. She has those citibank red envelopes for me. And new bills. Citibank has nice red envelopes.

when are you giving me my red packet?

I think, at least for me culturally, there was an expectation that the money went into a college fund.

I'm trying to figure out how to deal with the weirdness that is when one child has a bigger college fund than another. My daughter's will probably always be much bigger than the next one's. Doesn't seem quite fair.

my brother and sister had no "designated" college fund but my dad paid for both of their college educations anyway. i was the only kid who they set up a college fund for but had falling out with my parents around the time i enrolled so i paid some of it, the rest was covered by grants. we're all reconciled now obviously but i don't think i'll ever see that money. :P they did offer to fund my masters but it just sounds like a way for them to say "well, we're paying for this, so you have to do it our way". nah...

it's warm here...we were considering bringing the AC unit out from storage last night.

:blink::blink::blink::blink::blink:

So I think we might only need to go down to Fargo rather than Minneapolis for the biometrics appointment. Well, that is if the letter would ever come.
