This. I was always taught that except for very very close friends and immediate family who are always at your house, that your house must be sort of "prepped" first.

I don't think men get it.

yep...and i don't think they ever will. :\

Sorry for my actual rant of the day.

And another one: how do I constantly misplace my freaking cellphone? Why oh why do people wait until the last minute to send out W-2s? We've gotten one of them now, but still waiting on a 1099 and the W-2s from the company that was late last year.

I'm starting to get antsy about not doing my taxes.

Maybe Tarklar will find the T shirt at Garage Sale for Many cents down in Texas.. 1 year later

I will not buy it if it's Many cents; I'll talk them down to Many cents, si ma'am.

You guys make fun of my GS-ing, but you remain in stunned silence at my "hauls," verily man.

1. Houston is now United's hub and American offers very little competition there... It's no different than getting fares to DFW or ATL, ORD... If you live in a hub city you're screwed inside the home carrier's fortress... What makes SAT more appealing is that it is no one's hub and you need to connect somewhere to get there, which increases the competition and lower the prices.

2. Tejas can be nice too..

1. Used to be Continental's hub, until the wrong airline bought the right airline, sigh man...

2. Whaddayu mean, "can," huh man?

Troph sometimes it's better to wait to see any updated directives. What's your hurry, Jerry?

I've always been an early filer and none of my taxes are that advanced that I need to wait for stuff like that. Total Type A.

This year is actually the most complicated year I've done so far, so I'll just start without the other forms and add them back in later.

Still trying to figure out if I'm going to get that 800 back we overpaid into obamacare.

If the guest is a vegetarian, the guest becomes the salad, see ma'am.

If the guest is an alcoholic, the guest goes in the blender and becomes the drinks, see ma'am.

If the guest is corpulent, the guest becomes the dessert, see ma'am.

Easy, si ma'am!

Aiyah, just order pizza!

Where (1) were you when I was single and (2) where's the +Many button, huh ma'am?

Or serve frozen won ton with ramen lol

If the guest is Chinese, stick the guest in the freezer while the ramen is prepared, si man.

After (2+2+2) months

You were headed for a +1 until you promptly failed Polish math, sigh Niki-B. ma'am.

Rest-of-Wednesday rest-of-report, no rest for the soliloquizer man:

Sales of pre-owned toilet seats quite good for a Wednesday, $i man.

Betwixt sales, we ordered ourselves a case of industrial facial tissue, <$1/box man.

Had to drive home like a baastard, speed man.

Made it just in time to pick up Mini-B. from the neighbor's casa, wee man.

(Mrs. T-B. at her English-elocution class, Wednesdays she man.)

Mini-B. quite unhappy at having to leave, wanted to play with little friend longer man.

Mini-B. demanded that Daddy play with him immediately, wee protocol man.

We tried to convince him that Daddy had to eat dinner first, see wee man.

Mini-B. unpersuaded and demanded a bananana, hard to quit typing that word man.

We gave Mini-B. a banana, ingest wee man.

Mini-B. rapidly ingested banana, ingest wee man.

Mini-B. demanded that Daddy play with him immediately, wee protocol man.

We tried to convince him that Daddy had to finish dinner first, see wee man.

Mini-B. unconvinced and demanded another bananana, still hard typing that word man.

We gave Mini-B. the last such, an overly mature half-banana, ingest wee man.

Mini-B. rapidly ingested half-banana and started mistreating his toys, wee impatience man.

We gulped dinner and went to play with him, protocol man.

Mini-B. demanded another bananana, hungry wee man.

We explained the banana shortage, displeased wee man.

We shared partial can of spaghetti & meatballs, wee favorite man.

Mini-B. demanded to watch a Thomas movie, wee see man.

We turned on "Hero of the Rails," good movie man.

Mini-B. demanded a bolo, ice pop man.

We intensely searched for something healthier, see man.

We espied Mrs. T-B.'s bag of wheat tortillas, jackpot man.

The pleased Mini-B. enjoyed taking alternate bites of rolled-up tortillas, ingest me and we man.

Mini-B. lost interest halfway through movie and ran a car up & down our legs, ouch man.

Car-ouches distracted our attention from good movie, concentrate man.

Mrs. T-B. returned at approximately the proper time, surprise she man.

Mrs. T-B. ordered us upstairs to read a book with Mini-B., displeased she man.

We managed to finish the movie, good movie man.

Mini-B. insisted on playing with toy camera rather than reading, obstinate wee man.

Our arguments were not persuasive, no man.

Mini-B. appealed to Mommy when camera ultimately confiscated, end of our rope man.

After lecture, she man, community-reading session partially successful, tired wee man.

Mrs. T-B. soon put Mini-B. to bed, out like a light wee zzz man.

We dished the warsher, a great Many silverware pieces man.

The casa is completely out of cheaps, no snacking man.

We must de-dish the warsher, si man.

Morning! :)

TBonez - you know it's cheaper for Asia to fly into NYC than it is into Houston, right?

Plus the public transport there is better for the tourists - you or me not have time to ferry her around, and Steve-O is wired in to NYC with fellas with extra free time.

So, this one time, I suggest, lets back off on her visit to Texas - she's trying to keep the budget down to a minumum.

Or not.

yer choice :D

Yeah, the whole idea of another trip to the US is almost as crazy as my first one, in 2008, when I came to Seattle for a weekend
