Two Letters of Intent or One?

When I last visited my fiance (actually, just 3 weeks ago when we got engaged), I already knew a lot about this process and so before I left, got certain documents in order (G 325a etc)---and his letter of intent. Actually, we wrote his together (I typed, he signed) and also wrote one from the two of us, signed by the two of us. I can *easily* write my own and submit two separate ones (written about a month apart), or send the one we wrote together.

Is one better than the other? The joint letter is further proof that we were together in early January (but we've got a lot of that anyway). Does it make a difference?

One for him, one for you. Each signed with a 'wet' signature (ink not scanned or printed).

We used the "Fiance(e) Letter of Intent" example from here as the template http://www.visajourney.com/content/examplesand provided two letters, one from each of us and like Pheebs said then signed them both. Before we sent the final pack we took a copy of everything too so we had a copy as back-up for the interview or for future processes.

Thanks guys, I did use that as an example---just wondered if one or two was better. One is further proof we were together on a certain day (two signatures on one dated letter), the other is more "normal".

Unfortunately that is not proof you were together on that day as you can easily send one the letter signed for them to sign.

My signature was wet but my fiance's was scanned and I printed it. I received an NOA2 without an RFE. Just make sure if you can't get a wet signature you include a statement that advises if originals are needed you will provide them. This is mentioned on the guide section of this website.

I have his wet signature on both letters (his alone and the one we wrote together)---it's just a matter of which one to send. I guess we'll do them separately.

Unfortunately that is not proof you were together on that day as you can easily send one the letter signed for them to sign.

This doesn't really matter though as presumably the OP has plane tickets/passport stamps/photos to use as more concrete evidence of being in the same place,

Oh hahah yep Pheebs. I forgot to mention. I have my boarding passes, passport stamp, many photos (one in which we are holding that day's newspaper. ....a bit of cheeky fun). Plus all my itineraries from the 5 previous trips and all that accompanying documentation. Plus a police report in which we are both named victims in a street robbery on vacation in Nicaragua in October. I'm not including that mostly because I don't want go pay for translation of I don't have to.

We did 2 separate ones, but I don't see any major difference between the two,

as long as both parties sign and date it.

Not that you are lacking evidence, but if you did want to include the police report, all you'd have to do is translate it yourself (if you're able to, or have someone else do it) and submit a signed certification. No certified translators or anything like that are required.
