Well, as long as Obama is the one running. That either says Obama far superior to other democrats running for office and losing, or just in three election, two for President, one for US Senate, he was a better campaigner than what the competition had to offer. I would go with the latter, as personally, I was not enthused by either McCain or Romney, and surprised even myself, as a fiscal conservative, by voting for someone else both times.

I agree with that. The American voter is easily swayed by slick speeches and the promise of doing less work for more money.
