Dont cry.. how about planning a date online. get creative. I have done things like if your SO has PC at home and you have your PC. why not just turn on the cams. make like away to sleep on the bed or floor. when you wake up..you can still see each other providing. you are creative

and you dont have a crapy connection online.

how about have a valentines party..

you could get a few valentine goodies and share if you wanted. again get creative.

get one of thoe disposable 5.99 cams.

have someone take some cute pics of you. place in a cute flop over album for your man.

when he looks on his desk he sees you ...

It is definitely celebrated in my fiancé's country... we will most likely talk on the phone or chat that night, send sentimental e-mails. Other than this maybe a late gift when some friends of mine travel there in March. It's all a bit complicated, eh?

I have never really been a big fan of V-day. The women at the office get so crazy. Everytime the delivery man shows up with flowers all the women are glued to the window wondering if they are for them. Then when the lucky girl gets call to the front to pick them up, the dissapointment meter in each woman goes up a notch. The worst is when they don't get any, or they come reallllllly late. It's really one of the funniest things though.

Moral of the story...Send flowers and send them early.

Last year I sent him a card with the last of my unemployment check and when I asked him if he sent me one too he said, "No, because I suck." His accent and choice of words was so freaking cute how could I have been dissapointed with that? He still tries that one every once in a while, I've told him not to wear it out cos it may lose it's charm We also were big dorks. (When are we not?) We dressed up nice and had dinner/late lunch together on web cam and talked on skype. We had just become a couple 10 days prior

We've fallen asleep on camera before, that's always x's a million billion.

This year I've sent him a card. I have a sneaking suspicion that "No, because I suck." may become a tradition in our home :lol: but then again I am going to see him 1 March so it will be a nice belated anneversary/Valentine's day

I don't know if this counts but I'm bringing him a molcajete because he wanted one... does that count?
