It is possible they would want another interview. However, they had you send in the passport instead of waiting to bring it to an interview, so I am guessing the Ready status is just they received everything required and it is Ready for processing. You would need to hear from the consulate to be sure though.

From what they told us when my lawyer got involved, they asked for the passport so that if the visa got approved then they can send her passport with it. We've been emailing them everyday for an answer.

Hi,I got same situation as you,got 221g during interview last year Oct 29 because of lacking medical exam, I send out my medical, blue slip, passport to consultant on jan 22 this year and on Jan 23 consultant confirmed receipt.

Jan 26 this Monday the status shows Administrative Processing, but today Jan 28,it changes to Ready (ready for interview in the details). I have had my interview already,so now I am confused too.

But I will wait till this friday and give them a call to see what happen, I dont believe I need another second interview.

Good luck for both of us, hope we can get our visa approval this week

Just an FYI. The emails going to the embassy can turn up little when they respond. Try contacting the "visa unit" at the embassy. Cases where the consular has made a dissision will be forwarded to the visa unit.we had a similar issue, once we emailed the visa unit with our concern,we received a useful answer within a day

We are confused about what is on the CEAC site. I have send at least three emails and it is always the same response. Wait your finace will be told when the case is completed.

He had his interview in October, they asked for additional information (names of friends and job contact information)

The CEAC still has not been updated to say administrative pocessing, it continues to say ready forfor three cases( case numberXXXX 01-02-03) and what appears to be information on how to schedule the intial an interview.

I specifically asked the question about the CEAC site update, including sending an email to the email listed on the CEAC site for questions.

It appears all of the emails go to a site that sends the same response...no matter what I ask.

Reading this thread has me think I may be missing something about the interview and ready status. Does anyone else have any ideas what this might mean?
