02/21/07 - I-129 NOA1

04/09/07 - I-130 and I-129F approval email sent!!!!

04/26/07 - Packet 3 received

06/16/07 - Medical Examination

06/26/07 - Packet 3 SUBMITTED FINALLY!!!!

07/07/07 - Received pkt 4

07/22/07 - interview consular never bothered to show up for work.

07/29/07 - interview.

06/08/07 - Case resumed processing

10/01/07 - Email Notice of Transfer to CSC

10/04/07 - Pending at CSC

11/09/07 - Green Card Approved

Sometime in 2008 - Received 10 year GC. Almost done with USCIS for life inshaAllah! Huzzah!

06/15/09 - Citizenship interview

07/15/09 - Citizenship ceremony. Alhamdulilah, the US now has another american muslim!

MBP and Doodle: No, not Henia style, it's my psycho laptop's style. I *really* need to do some maintainence on it *soon* but not now :lol:

I treated myself to lunch at iHop (i have never been there) and has the Florentine Chicken crepes... Mmmm they were good!

Then went to see my 2nd fav person,my travel agent (1st was the INS officer lol) My agent got me a round trip ticket to Alger for $780 even cheaper then he quoted me on the phone. Thanks Sidali! You are cool beans! :thumbs: So now all I need is to get the visa. Hello Ali! I need help! :help: Then off to start MY visa journey!!!

Then I treated myself to some Ma'amoul Mad with cheese at Shatila's bakery and the guy gave me a free slice of French torte after I told him my good news! :dance: Woooooohooo it does pay to be a USC!

Called the dH and he was calmy happy about my news. Hmmm why is it I always get more excited over things? :unsure:

Now I cannot figure where to go for dinner? hmmmm...I'm thinking Arby's (not!)

Okay maybe I am asking a crazy question but does this automatically make your daughter a US citizen ?

How was the interview and test? Easy or Tough?

4/14/08 -----> 10 yr green card in hand

Citizenship Timeline

8/20/08 -------> Mailed N-400 to TSC

8/21/08 -------> N-400 rec'd by TSC @ 10:42 am signed for by C Maxa

8/26/08 -------> Check cashed

8/28/08 -------> Called USCIS was told biometrics scheduled for Sept 12 @ 3 pm

9/02/08 -------> Received NOA 1 showing receipt date as August 22, 2008

9/02/08 -------> Received bio appt by snail mail verifying scheduled date as 9/12 @ 3 pm

9/12/08 -------> Fingerprints taken

12/16/08------> Interview @ 10:05 am [PASSED]; OAth given at 2 pm

***MY HUSBAND IS NOW A USC***

12/29/08 -----> Filed for US passport book and passport card for my husband

01/08/09 -----> Rec'd US passport book in mail today; still waiting for card and return of natz cert

1/10/09 ------> Rec'd US passport card and Natz cert.

My daughter was born here so she is already a USC. But to answr your question, no it does not make a child automatic USC. You have to file extra paperwork.

Interivew was easy:Asked me why I wanted to be a USC? To read/write some lines in English, answer some history questions and about myself. And finally show proofs of my good morale charachter and good citizen....
