'Baby Machine' Who Lives Off Benefits Dumped By Cheating Husband While Expecting 12th Child

A mother who supports herself and her 11 children on over $40,000 a year from the government, said her serial-cheating husband recently left her while she was pregnant with her 12th child.

Cheryl Prudham, 32, said her husband, Robert Prudham, began cheating on her early in their relationship, and was even unfaithful two weeks before their wedding.

“He’s been unfaithful more than ten times. Things went wrong quite early on. Two weeks before we got married he was cheating,” Prudham said. “At that time I was eight months pregnant with our first son, Leon, and I felt I had no choice but to get on with it. It was a mistake but I was naive and just hoped it was a one-off.

“I was desperate to have a stable family life and give the kids a home with a mum and a dad,” she added, “something I’d never had but always craved." She already had six children before she met Robert in 2009. According to Mirror Online, Robert had a history of walking out on his wife after each of their children were born, only to return a short time later.

Prudham revealed her latest pregnancy earlier this month, and outrage quickly ensued over the fact that she had conceived the baby just five weeks after giving birth to twins in October. Prudham, known as the “baby machine,” said her reliance on government assistance is the primary reason that she keeps having kids.

“It's the Government's fault I've got so many kids. It's easy to claim benefits,” she said. “I've always wanted a big family and being a mum is the best feeling in the world. We didn't rush into the decision to have more children lightly but we knew we'd be able to afford it." Prudham had her first child when she was 17 years old.

Prudham and her husband collect €38,000 [$42,584] from the British government, which is well over the benefits cap in the country. Prudham claimed that working as caretakers for elderly people allowed her and her husband to claim tax credits.

Robert Prudham denied claims that he walked out on his family, calling his wife a “liar” and claiming that they were simply on a break.

“She’s been with people behind my back. I’m not allowed to see the kids, I haven’t a clue why,” he said. “It’s over. We split up because she is pregnant with someone else’s baby."

People think having babies is like an assembly line. Press the button, one pops out and it keeps going.

I don't think they realize the ingredients it takes to make a baby, like a donor.
