I am applying for AOS for my wife who came her on her k-1 visa and am getting all my paperwork in order. I noticed on the example I-131 form under Part 3 section 4(a) regarding have I ever been issued a reentry permit or refugee travel document is blank. I'd imagine I would want to answer no there. Also, section 5 under part 3 is also blank where it asks if I want the document to be sent to the address in Part 1. I would imagine I would want to have this checked off as I want the advance parole document to be sent to my home address. Please advise. Thanks!

I would, and did not, leave anything blank. I put in "N/A" for most responses that were not part of our application. This is a multiple purpose document so there will be several section that are "not applicable".

Good luck,

Dave

Thanks for the response. The question I was asking though was should I answer no to part 3 section 4(a) and whether I should mark off section 5 under part 3 of the I-131 as I want the advance parole document to go to my physical address.

At the bottom of page 2 of the application, it states: If you are applying for a non-DACA related Advance Parole document, skip to Part 7.

This means you do not fill out the rest of Part 3, and you skip directly to Part 7. You can answer NO to question 4.a and it will be fine.

The AP will be sent to the address listed in Part 1.
