Waiting on Visa Number from NVC

Hi All,

Thanks for all the experience and advice that you all share in these forums.

I would appreciate some feedback on a current situation. My parents are US Citizens but they have been separated for years...they both earned their citizenship while they were separated. My petition was filled and I have been waiting for a Visa number for over 5 years and after checking the processing schedule its seems I have several more years to wait before I'm awarded a green card. I don't live in the US at this time...I only visit regularly with a visitors visa. I am also a professional, that is, I earned my MBA from a university in my country.

Does anyone know of any conditions that I can pursue which can shorten my waiting time on the basis that both my parents are US citizens?

I look forward to hearing all your feedback on the above matter.

Thanks

If you're already in the F1 category (unmarried sons/daughters of US citizens), there's no way to jump ahead of those who filed before you. Patience is a virtue in your category. Good luck!
