Knightsbridge now claim they haven't received the email even though my doctor's receptionist and I have triple checked the address and re-sent it to them... baffling.

So I *think* I have resolved the problem I encountered in my medical! My doctors emailed confirmation of all of my vaccinations to the London medical place yesterday so hopefully I won't have to deal with this again at AOS! Just waiting for confirmation from the medical place that they received this email! Feeling hopeful/relieved!

That's good, did they not give you a photocopy of the form that you need to submit for your AOS? Or did they wait for you to submit your records before sending you a copy? I got the impression if you didn't have it all sorted on the day then you'd have to sort it out in America, but I could be misinformed! *fingers crossed*

I emailed and asked them to do exactly that! Currently I am still within the 2-3 work days for the blood test results so ideally this will all be sorted without any kind of delay to my timeline! Im so frustrated!

In the past when somebody has been missing shots, they have asked Knightsbridge to hold their results until they can get them at their GP. Then the GP office sends a FAX of the proof of shots. Knightsbridge has even accepted faxes from the patient. Not sure why the current nurse can't work this out and help you sort it. it was the nurse's idea when my husband went.

Or just pay the money for shots at Knightsbridge and be done if you went without understanding what shots were needed to clear AOS.

Or get the shots later and pay a civil surgeon for a new medical exam. You don't really need a new exam but so many have trouble finding a civil surgeon who will sign off on shots without insisting on a full exam including all the blood work and a TB skin test.

Sadly no, and at the end of it all it turns out my doctor had misinformed me regarding one of my missing dates and I actually didn't have all the requirements anyway! How ironic! Gotta laugh

Quite anxious about the cost of this form at AOS now though

Oh no But you're right, gotta laugh! At least the medical is over and done with and all that's left is the interview!!

Hopefully the cost of a civil surgeon for AOS won't be crazy expensive. But still a few months away

Exactly. My post was general info for everybody with an upcoming medical. The shots needed are in the very first post of the pinned K1 London thread. It suggests to get immunizations in order while waiting on NOA2.

And remember, you have to meet US immunization standards, so what your UK GP thinks does not count. He, of course, doesn't have to give you something that is against his UK standards. But you will still need it to become a permanent resident in the US. So you may have to pay for it at a place like Boots, or Knightsbridge, or a place in the US if your GP doesn't agree. If all needed are not signed off by Knightsbridge, then a designated civil surgeon in the US will have to sign you off.

Ah well! At least it's not stopping you from entering America, you are definitely not the only one to go into the States without a perfect vaccination form. I'm pretty sure there's a civil surgeon's that don't rip you off thread on this site you can use too so you get a good deal.
