I see, I said to my GP just give me all my records since I was paying £10 for it! You're right to be cautious, it's not right to get more vaccs done if you've just have a booster. Surely they should have known that o_O. Are you ready for your interview now?

My results should be with the embassy on Thursday so fingers crossed I get a speedy appointment! I'm meant to be in the US for my fiance's sisters wedding on March 1st- eek!

It's possible you could get there in time! But obviously you have to prepare for delays with this process. Can the interview be scheduled without the results of the medical? On my readiness form I put what date my medical is so do they keep that into account and book the interview regardless? Or is it one of those once it's done THEN you get an interview...

No they won't give you an interview until they have the results, and you don't get to choose, they just assign it

Yeah, that part I did know *le sigh* , and the time they give you is irrelevant too it seems! I'm intending on arriving at 7:30am on interview day regardless of what time they give me. I am going to be a sad panda at that time in the morning.

my appt is for 9.30am, shall I just chance it and get there at 7.30am?

My fiance's appointment is at 8AM and I believe the appointment letter said not to arrive more than 30 minutes before the scheduled interview time. Not sure if they stick to it, but wanted to make note of it

I've read a lot of reviews of the London embassy saying to get there early since they don't turn you away despite having an interview time.

Yeah, I actually researched it after the fact and saw that to be true. Bet they have a crazy influx of people arriving in the AM hours before their interview times, sounds a bit like a nightmare lol

I know, right? A part of me is thinking maybe just roll up when I'm supposed to, since I THINK K-1 visa interviews don't wait the same times as student visas/tourist visas. Could be wrong though. I've actually not read a review where the person has arrived at their allocated time, but most of them turn up at the butt crack of morning. I seem to recall someone saying (no doubt Nich-Nick guru ) that it's a first come first served type affair, so the later you arrive the more chances you are waiting for previous ticket holders to get their slot.

Wow, how long is the bus ride from Edinburgh to London? My fiance lives in Kirkcaldy and he'll be flying from Edinburgh to Stanstead.

So I *think* I have resolved the problem I encountered in my medical! My doctors emailed confirmation of all of my vaccinations to the London medical place yesterday so hopefully I won't have to deal with this again at AOS! Just waiting for confirmation from the medical place that they received this email! Feeling hopeful/relieved!
