Timeline

Hi guys i have a Question plz i sent the AOS on aug2014 and CC was on dec2014 if my husband will havr his interview after april they may ask for 2014 tax??answer plz thnk u all

Personally, I wouldn't think so. For me, anyways, the consulate was only concerned with the documentation/evidence that I did file with the petition.

This is an AOS question, really, not a tax question. However, this is my view:

- His interview will most likely be before April, unless applications through the Chicago office are hugely backed up.

- If it is after April, he should take either a copy of his 1040 (or 1040X or whatever) and W2 from filing, or form 4868 (the form that requests an automatic filing extension). I don't know how likely it is he'll need it, but he is required to have filed one or the other by April, and taking a copy should be easy.
