I-601 Waiver - Applicant was previously in the US as follows?

There's a section in the I-601 Waiver that says:

Part1. Information about applicant (continued)

Applicant was previously in the United States as follows:

and it shows 4 instances where you can fill out US addresses.

Now, my wife thinks you should fill that in for every time you've visited the US but I think it's for people who maybe were students once and had LIVED in the US under a limited visa. There's a box in that section which says 'immigration status' so that would make sense.

I visited the US from Canada about 10 times in 2008, for maybe three days at a time, so it would seem very silly to write all that.

You can just put about short trips of 1-3 days for pleasure/shopping.

But like I say, I visited the US about 10 times in 2008. I couldn't possibly remember all the dates. Are you sure you HAVE to put in every one?

You can check your passport and email for old itinerary records. Even if you since renewed your passport, you should keep the old one for records. You have to remember, they know when you have been to the US because you've passed through immigration system before when you entered and left the US, this is their wat of checking that you are truthful.

When I applied for my student Visa to UK (I'm a USC) I had to list everywhere I have travelled to in the past 10 years and dates and length of the trip, so it is possible.

Right, ok. Found passport info on pretty much all that.

So one more thing, I visited a few times when I was about aged 11 to 13. Also when I was 8 years old. Surely they don't have to be mentioned? is it mainly as an adult would you say?

The form is pretty clear and I recollect no differentiation due to your age when the trips were made.
