Hi Again,

Can anyone please help me out with what documents did they attach and were accepted by immigration officer during their interview that proved domicile in U.S in the below scenario.

"C. You intend in good faith to reestablish your domicile in the United States no later than the date of the intending immigrant's admission or adjustment of status. You must submit proof that you have taken concrete steps to establish you will be domiciled in the United States at a time no later than the date of the intending immigrant's admission or adjustment of status. Concrete steps might include accepting a job in the United States, signing a lease or purchasing a residence in the United States, or registering children in U.S. schools. Please attach proof of the steps you have taken to establish domicile as described above."

Any kind of help would be appreciated!

Thanks

No, My brother is the beneficiary and my mother applied for him under F2B category. But U.S is not her domicile country, so we want to make sure that we will have all the documents ready before our PD becomes current.

I am concerned about Domicile status and want to know what other people have done to prove domicile in U.S when their permament address was outside U.S?

I am sorry that your interview didn't go well. Hope you will be able to satisfy immigration officer next time. In my brother's case, we are still waiting for his PD to become current.

Can you pls. advise what documents have you attached to prove U.S domicile and what reason did Immigration officer mention that why the documents are not enough?

I will appreciate your help.

Then she should move back to the US. The purpose of filing i130 is for family reunification in the US. If your mom resides outside the US then there's no point in bringing her son there.

Is your mom aware that she can lose her LPR status if she stays out of the US for long periods of time?

yes, we are aware of that but I have read in a seperate thread that Petitioner doesn't have to be physically present in U.S and still prove Domiclie if petitioner can show:

"C. You intend in good faith to reestablish your domicile in the United States no later than the date of the intending immigrant's admission or adjustment of status.
