I am waiting for a case number to be assigned. I have all my documents ready for NVC but I was wondering if I should submit evidence of marriage or I should just submit at the time of interview?

That is your choice. I would suggest asking in your regional forum (you can report this post to have it moved there) as this is something done more regionally than not.

I think the main proof of marriage NVC want is the copy of the marriage certificate. So if you send that, you be fine. Just make sure you follow the instructions and submit all the documents they want. Good luck.

12/08/2014 TSC approved I-130.

12/12/2014 TSC shipped case to NVC.

12/19/2014 NVC received.

01/26/2015 Case # assigned and completed DS-261.

01/30/2015 Received AOS invoice and paid.

02/02/2015 Mailed AOS + IV packets

02/10/2015 Scan date for AOS + IV packets

03/23/2015 Received a checklist for AOS

03/27/2015 Mailed checklist response

03/30/2015 Checklist scan date

04/22/2015 Case completed at NVC

You have to send a photocopy of the marriage certificate, that is a given. However you can send more relationship evidence if you want to. It's better to send it so the CO can see it before hand than take it to interview. However you do not HAVE to send any relationship evidence at this time either. It really depends on the embassy. I am unsure what is the wisest choice of action for Jamaica.

Thank you for replying to my message. I've read where they say it make things move smoother at the time of the interview when evidence is already present in your file. I'm just trying to have everything organized so things can go smoothly.

You should try to send as much evidence in advance as possible. That includes evidence of legal marriage, such as a copy of your Marriage Certificate, as well as evidence of continuous relationship.. photos, communication logs, etc. Theoretically, the more proof an officer has of a genuine marriage in advance, the better. Variety trumps quantity. However, if you think gathering evidence will take time, collect and present evidence during the interview.

Thanks guys for all your help. Question which package should I send the evidence with?. I printed our chat log but it over 3000 pages, should I just pick a few pages and send?

Pick and choose some chats just showing you communicate regularily. 3000 pages is more than overkill. You would send any evidence with the IV portion of the package (since you should send the AOS and the IV at the same time now.)
