hello everyone!

I just have a few questions regarding the removal of conditions of my CR1.

I got my greencard last march 2013, meaning it will expire this coming march.

we're preparing for the documents that we needed and since there are so much stuff that's happening in our life right now, we're having a tough time preparing for everything all at once. (we're moving out of our house in a couple of months and I'm gonna give birth next month! yay!) so here are my questions..

1. we only have tax returns for the year 2012 and 2013 from my husband's accountant. since he just submitted the 2013 tax returns last week, we're not gonna have the tax transcript anytime soon.(we called irs and they said it takes 6-8 weeks for the transcript to be available) so we're only submitting for now the 2012 and 2013 tax return plus 2012 tax transcript from irs. is that okay or we will automatically get an rfe for that?

2. are affidavits necessary for evidences or they're just additional proof? (and if ever we needed to submitted can his mom be one of the two witnesses re: our relationship?

3. we're staying in my husband's family property now (owned by him and his siblings) so my name is not on the title or any lease. should we make a lease that states that we're staying here as caretakers or just don't include it at all since we have a property back in my country that lists both of our names as owners?

4. can we include a copy of the birth certificate form that the hospital gave us in preparation of me giving birth? it's not the birth cert itself but our info and the baby's name etc are in there. (I was thinking of waiting till I give birth before submitting our roc but my due date won't be until the last week of feb and my greencard will expire 2nd week of march)

thank you so much in advance! :)

Welcome to the forum.

hello everyone!

we're preparing for the documents that we needed and since there are so much stuff that's happening in our life right now, we're having a tough time preparing for everything all at once.

You may get an RFE, suggest that you submit a letter from the accountant, explaining the 2013 tax return circumstances.

2. are affidavits necessary for evidences or they're just additional proof? (and if ever we needed to submitted can his mom be one of the two witnesses re: our relationship?Usually thought of as secondary evidence.

3. we're staying in my husband's family property now (owned by him and his siblings) so my name is not on the title or any lease. should we make a lease that states that we're staying here as caretakers or just don't include it at all since we have a property back in my country that lists both of our names as owners? Submit as much evidence showing joint ownership as possible.

4. can we include a copy of the birth certificate form that the hospital gave us in preparation of me giving birth? it's not the birth cert itself but our info and the baby's name etc are in there. (I was thinking of waiting till I give birth before submitting our roc but my due date won't be until the last week of feb and my greencard will expire 2nd week of march) A certificate of an event that has yet to occur will likely be of little importance to USCIS.

thank you so much in advance! :)

When you get a chance, :time: It helps everyone that uses the forum.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

thank you A&B for your response :) do you think it will help to have the accountant write a note about the late submission? or should I wait a little and see if the transcripts would be available anytime soon? is it risky to submit roc 3 weeks before my greencard expires?

and another question, I've been reading here for a week now and some people are saying that once they submitted the roc and then changed their address (since they moved out) the chances for rfe is slightly higher. I'll be in the same situation since I'm just waiting to give birth here (my hospital is in this town) before we move out. should I change my address prior to submitting the roc or just do it after? any thoughts?

thank you so much again and sorry if I'm asking so much questions. have a great day! :)
