Sounds good, Jen.

This is how it was suggested to me...he would take a shower while I slipped into something more comfortable ;) Then the adult activities would commence. Starting with a particular activity ;)

oh no, i plan to join him in the shower.

Ok, I have a relevant question. I've been trying to get a ticker in my siggy, and it is not working. I went to that daisypath site and copied the code, but when I add it to my siggy, it appears as code and not as a cute ticker. What have others done that I'm not doing to make it work?

When my husband came I kept in mind how I felt after the long flight to Morocco. My desires were:

1-Good Food

2-Bath

3-Sleep

(In that order)

My husbands flight was delayed by 6 hours bringing him in at 5 AM. I had to work that day, so this really put a strain on me since the drive to the airport is 1 hour. I simply napped as long as I dared, showered and put on my makeup (since I knew there would be no time once I took him home). Made him a sandwich and off to the airport I went. He ate the sandwich in the car as I drove (so romantic). When we got home we took in his suitcases, plopped on the bed for some cuddle time (which turned in to more surprisingly), and off he went to sleep as I went to work.

I felt horrible that he had to wake up to an empty unfamiliar house his first day here, but I had taken so much time off of work that I knew there would be no way I could ask for yet another day.

Since his arrival about 6 weeks ago we have yet to have that special romantic night that we planned. Between family, my sick Dad moving in with us, then us moving to his house to make him more comfortable, there just hasn't been time.

Honestly I don't care, he is here. But since we never really had any wedding parties he still wants to have some sort of celebration of our marriage. It really isn't as important to me as it is to him, but we will do it.....in the summer...lol.

we had a nice quiet airport meeting with me, my sister, and her husband. We drove the 2 hours home and had a simple meeting with my family. Went home, ate a sandwich (he just wanted to curb his apetite so he could sleep comfortably), tour of the home, took a shower, layed down on the couch together and talked some easy talk about his flight, how they treated him, and how happy we were to be together, then went to bed. He slept what seemed like FOREVER and we had a very lazy day the next day with just getting used to where everything was in the house and touring my small town. We slowly eased into everything and he said he preferred it that way..

GOOD LUCK

I had planned an old fashion american picnic in our living room - hot dogs, potato chips, fruit salad, cole slaw, potato salad.

However, he was waaaaay too tired once he got here to do much of anything. I don't even remember if he ate anything at all.

Don't be disappointed if you plan a lot and then he just crashes on the bed and sleeps for 2 days straight.

I agree! I been thinking I work at 4AM -12noon. so I was considering working this day of his arrival. he will arrive at MID NIGHT. he willl be sleeping and that. when he wakes up.. we can start our day because, I should be home from work..:). I can even leave a few hours earlier. then we will spend the next few days togeather. I think if I dont go to work- he wont get a moments rest!! coz, I would be a FREAK!!
