Form G-325A confusion - Last 5 addresses of frequent work traveler?

Hi,

I have been making frequent 3-6 months long trips to South Africa for work and am confused about how to fill the last 5 addresses field in G-325A form for K1.

It's been like 3 months in SA, then 1-2 months in India, then again 3 months in SA, then 1-2 months in India, then again 6-7 months in SA and now back to India. My permanent mailing address was always my Indian address. While in SA, I lived at different addresses each time (apartments leased by the employer). Now, should I fill in each of the SA addresses as well in the list of last 5 addresses? Or can those addresses be ignored since my permanent mailing address never changed?

Also, if I do fill in SA addresses then will my Indian address will be repeated for each time I was in India after each trip (the form requires start and end dates for each address)?

Hey,

I was kind of in the same situation and I wrote my last five addresses but just attached an additional sheet with all the rest of my address on. My mailing address never changed but where I lived did, even if was only temporary.

If its an hassle for you, then it'll be confusing to immigration officials too.

And they are not just looking for your mailing address.

They want to know where you were physically.

This is particularly important in sniffing out problem (potential terrorist,

drug cartel, immigration fraud, etc.)

So I think it's even more important that you list all of the addresses from past 5 years

in clear chronological order, and maybe even add a short description on why (your work)

you were traveling all over the places.

I also moved around a lot in the past 5 years because I was in school outside of USA so I just attached an additional sheet with the same table as is on G325A and filled it out. Agree with the point on the letter, can't hurt!

Hi guys,

Thank you for your help so far. I have one more related question that I think I didn't clearly ask - Is the list of last 5 addresses supposed to be last 5 unique addresses?

Given my frequent oversees trips, my last 5 addresses would look like-

1) Delhi Address - Jan-Feb

2) Joburg Address1 - Mar-Apr

3) Delhi Address (same as 1) - May-June

4) Joburg Address2 - July-Aug

5) Delhi Address (same as 1) - Sept-Oct

As you see, my "Delhi Address" was repeated 3 times. Is that the right way to list last 5 addresses? Or should I list the Delhi Address only once and list other remaining addresses in there?

Hey, I wrote mine like that and continued them on an additional sheet. Make sure it is in chronological order that way the USCIS will know exactly where you were living and when. It'll be important when they carry out background checks etc.
