I DID CALL ALREADY TWICE.

Yes, last Thursday the 15th, it updated to sent to the department of state.

Are you not getting through? If not, then you need to keep calling and calling. Try Friday evening. I got through then, and from what I read, that seems to be the least busy time, maybe because people do other things on Friday evenings than calling NVC. Also, lawyers are not working Friday evenings, so those potential callers are no calling for their clients then either.

Yes. I have gotten through many times. I have spoke with representatives who keep telling me my case is not there yet.

I feel so fortunate the way my k-1 case is going..

noa 2 approved on 1/23, i-129f mailed to nvc on 1/30, called them on Feb 6 to check if there's a case #, no case # but they received the package from USCIS..

then today.. I got an email from the RIYADH EMBASSY THEMSELVES!! Not only do they have our Case, NVC already sent it to them without me even following up or anything! It's all READY right now

i can't believe it and am constantly praying for the process to go smooth and finish the rest of the way

still in shock.. it's taken what? 3 weeks from my NOA 2 approval direct for the US Embassy in Riyadh to receive my K-1!!

that's crazy.. hell, it only spent what? 3 days at NVC? The embassy received it on Feb 10 and I called on Feb 6 (they received package on Feb 3)

I called the NVC today and got our case number. They said that the embassy in Manila should have it by next week. Can we go ahead and fill out the Ds-160 and pay for the visa at the bank or do we have to wait until the embassy has our case?

Still no case number from the NVC. It's been 2 weeks. Is this something I should worry about? They keep telling me to wait 35 days. Can anyone else share their experience?

Two weeks is still pretty early, if I recall we waited around 4 weeks for ours. What you can do is call them up daily (if you're so inclined) and see if you have a case number yet.
