Good morning everybody! My interview was on January 12th and it was approved by the U.S. counsular the same day but the status online says administrative processing has anyone been through the same situation that could tell me an estimate time of how long this process takes?

I believe that is when they are processing your documents, so seeing AP is normal. It does take time between interview and you having the visa in hand.

Yes, AP after approval is common and normal. They need time to process the paperwork and put the visa in your passport and when all that is done, your CEAC status should change to issued and just wait for your packet to come in the mail.

Well now im worried cuz mine still says administrative processing, and I have no idea why I have called and sent emails and they just respond general information. I guess if they didn't give us slip of paper telling u tht u are under administrative processing 221g there s no reason to worry , im confused about it
