There are examples of the forms at http://www.visajourney.com/content/examples that are a helpful GUIDE. Always read the official instructions from USCIS and follow them as forms change. Please do as advised and read the instructions twice, then look at the guides, then ask questions.

it says on the i-485 instructions this...

http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-693.pdf

You may Apply if:

A. An immigrant visa number is immediately available to you based on approved immigrant petition and or

B.You are filing this application with a completed relative petition etc etc etc...

you can read it all in that link to the instructions... so i have no number what do i do>???? do i need to send my i-130 away first? or what... yall didnt tell me this much..

your not suppose to post your personal info on here, I hope one of the moderators manages to block the picture( or try and delete it if you can), your names are showing in the picture you put, as for the ESTA number I came across a lawyer that said it was fine that's why I did it, I also found a couple of people on this forum that said they did the same, if your uncomfortable you could leave it

OKay ive filled most of everything out and im going to call the USCIS sometime this week to verify what i put in as the non immigrant visa number & the consulate area too and anything else im unsure off..

now an issue i would like to clear up with anyone on here who can help me...

when we send copies of Birth certificates we only have 1 birth certificate each and we are going to file all the i-130 / i485 and any other ones we file altogether in the same package so is 1 birth certificate each enough for all of them??????

Also can we just goto the library to get copies of our passports information they need and all of the copies we need, is that fine to do? and send all of that together? or do we need each cop for each form? as we are going to organize it all by putting each form we file into a file with all the documentation we need with them n each of there own file and send them off altogether in the one big package to the uscis Chicago is that all right and correct?

and when i send these off in one package, do i just send one copy of our birth certificates in the envelope together? or do i need multiple for each form???? etc etc now thats confused me to no boundary!

I sent 2 copies of our passports and birth certificates, one in each packet. So one in the I-130 packet and one in the I-485 packet. That worked fine.

Hope this helps, I am starting to forget the minutiae of having applied, but I'm pretty sure about this one. Check then "complete AOS packet" threads, people will post their cover letters with lists of the documents they sent in.

This is the long form?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
