So I was wondering How's VSC when it comes of processing applications? the USCIS website shows that VSC has a 5 months timeframe but how accurate this is? My i-130 will reach 5 months on feb 9th so I'm kinda anxious about it.!

I'm driving myself nutssssssssss!! This is the time where I usually get anxiety!! lol This sucks! I was checking the Igor's List and I dont see many people that filed in Sept! I just can't wait for our approvals!

07/13/15: NOA2 (I-130 Approved letter hard copy)

it's too hard to get Noa2 from the vsc mine almost 10 months .

We filed in September and got approved in November. I think this is because I'm currently in Canada with my spouse though, so I think we got an auto-expedite.

I think if it's outside the normal wait period of 5 months, you can call and ask what is happening and someone might move it along. 10 months is too long, I'm very sorry you've had to wait so much :(

Indeed! 10 months is insane! I mean it's ok for the whole process but not just for the approval of the i-130. I'd drive myself nuts! I am already..I think the country matters in this process I'm not sure.

Going crazy over here knowing that it could take about 12 months for me to get my Visa.

Our plan was to file the petition..wait...get the visa and that i would move to the states in summer.

I think it also depends on the country the beneficiary is coming from. If 5 is the amount of time now though, once it's over that, you can get your petitioner's Senator or Congressman to complain basically, and they will speed up the process. That is only after it's exceeded the normal amount of time though, which is currently 5 months.

Hi Guys,

Our PD is July 29,2014 but i applied as green card holder and then i got my citizenship and upgraded the process couple months ago. My lawyer called them and they only said we updated your case and still in processed. It has been 6 months. Getting worried about it. Anyone knows if there is any backlog? I need to wait since i know i can't call USCIS that i used my chance once Outside Normal Processing Times option. Please let me know if anyone has any information.

We applied in December through VSC and got our NOA2 on January 27th... Maybe just lucky, it does seem to be pretty random as to which cases are processed first, even with priority dates
