All good now, we were approved yesterday! :dance:

It was a very quick interview less than 5 minutes, surprised me. Now is just wait they delivery my passport :)

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

He's going to pick up the packet from his medical today. Heard from the Congressman's office yesterday, and they were waiting for a response from the consulate about us getting our interview date back. The CEAC site says our case was updated yesterday, but I have no idea what they did, yet again.

Fingers crossed and thumbs pressed for some sort of news today...

Also, while your case is In Transit or first arrives at the Embassy, its a good time to check the country specific forums, or the embassy info pages. There's usually information there on your embassy/consulate's procedures for Packets 3 and 4, booking medicals and interviews, and contacting them if you need to.

How every embassy processes these are different, so some of us may not be able to give advice.

I checked the NVC website today my case says ready, so what is the next step please.

Email the Embassy and request for them to email your packet 3. You need packet 3 in Haiti before you can schedule Medical and get policy clearance. Good luck hope I follow you soon.

Yay! Good news in a follow up call from Congresswoman Johnson's office. She said there was an update to our case. I called NVC and got a case number, invoice number, and beneficiary number today. :dancing:
