What wonderful news!! Exciting days, after all this waiting, things are starting to happen. What happens next? Once you have the date, can you book to go to Ghana? Just think about it: soon you will be with your sweetheart and then you bring him home :D So excited for you!

Your words are so sweet and encouraging! Yes as soon as we have the interview date tomorrow then I can schedule my time off work and book my flight! I can't wait to see him. We haven't seen each other since September. I told him tonight I am not leaving Ghana without you....hahaha. He is so calm and mellow about everything, I on the other hand am full of excitement and talking a mile a min. LOL

Our CEAC status is In Transit for 12 days now. We haven't completed DS 160 yet. Would not completing DS 160 result in embassy not making the case ready? Did anyone have their case ready before completing DS 160?. Please share.

Oh that's amazing! Congrats you guys. How does it work with the Swedish embassy -- do you schedule your own interview or were you appointed one?

Thank you! :) After completing the DS-160 and paying the visa fee, the Swedish embassy website has a calendar where you can see all available appointments and schedule your interview yourself. Very easy!

I waited until the status changed to Ready before I completed the DS-160. No issues (yet at least - and I've both paid the fee and scheduled my interview with no trouble). :)

You will be appointed one.

Speaking of this, if someone knows the answer to this... I just checked my status and our case is now en route to Stockholm and it also says that I have been appointed a visa interview date by NVC. Where will they send this info? To my fiance in the states or my address in Sweden? Prior to this message it said we would be getting instructions by NVC but we have not received any. Is this normal?

I got an email about an hour ago... They canceled our interview. No reason given.
Tried to rebook and the soonest showing was May 14th. A full month after.

I just don't even know anymore. We're waiting for an email response. I'm not giving up, but I don't know how much more I can take...

We finally heard some good news today from a Tier 2 officer at USCIS. Our case was mis-sent to NRC, but it was returned to USCIS/TSC and then shipped out to NVC on March 20 at 6:46pm.

It took our case three weeks at NVC. You should hear something any time now. Hang in there.

We were at NVC for 4 weeks. Hopefully you get out sooner. TSC and NVC are of the few places where you mind when someone tells you to get the heck outa there :-) just inserting some humor to make your day a little better.

That is just WRONG. I am glad it was shipped eventually. Best of luck! Hope next steps wI'll be much faster.
