First I want to say that my english is not so good.I'm happy for you all you are approved :-) We have our NOA1 since 18 July and we are still waiting.I hope so much the next step is coming soon.I don't understand why not and we are very sad.I have enough of the time to wait and don't know why we are must still waiting and hear nothing from the TCS... :clock:

My fiance sent only the i-129f without pictures or other things. Was it not enough ? I'm not sure if this question is right here on this topic but I try it...we are desperate and sad

I'm sorry when I'm wrong here in this topic but I don't know what can we do now...

We all understand how stressful it may be for you at the moment. It's so unfortunate that Texas snowstorms are causing even further delays. At this point please contact your lawmakers and seek help. And please feel free to post here. It's not off topic because we all were in your shoes not long ago so we understand and can help. Wish you very best of luck.

Isn't it a great feeling to be on this side of the process! lol. It will go much faster now.

This is what they do at NVC. Once they receive your case they will assign a case number normally in one or two days. Give them at least a week from when it left USCIS then start calling them. Once you have that case number you can go to https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx put in immigrant visa.....type in your case number. You can monitor when your case leaves NVC. It can take maybe 5-15 days. Once you get your case number and you go to CEAC to check your status it will say "AT NVC" the next step it will say "In Transit" meaning they have sent it to the embassy. "Ready" means it's arrived at the Embassy.

NVC has had my case since Feb 17th. It's still there, but should go out this week I hope.

When you call and you get that message.....all current reps are busy with other customers...hang up and redial...keep doing that until you get through. You have to stay on hold because there is no call back at NVC. I am not sure if the beneficiary can get information or not, but you can call and see what they tell you.

Yes.. sounding good ... its been four or five days now.. and I still can't get the grin off my face... This part definitely sounds a lot easier. lol.... I remember reading up on it in the past but our journey has been so long I have to recheck everything. So now we aren't lost in space and get some control back.. this is such a relief.

... and it looks like its my turn and I can do some checking soon... Thank you all for your help and hints. I hope things move quickly for everyone from here. (F)

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

TabeaK...Yes he called often the USCIS and the last woman he talked was not helpful and unfriendly. The problem is that everyone says something different. We don't know if it was enough to sent only the i-129f without pictures or other proofs.

Abbumimapa...thank's for your understanding and your friendly words.

We must still wait without a answer for our question. It is so frustrating.

I wish you all all the best and good luck for your new life with your love :)

You are welcome! No. Only I 129F isn't enough. Proof of meeting in last two years is required (must send passport stamps, boarding passes, airline tickets, pictures, etc). Also, pictures show that you two have met and have a genuine relationship.

Having said that, not sending proof or pictures won't usually cause a delay or denial. Once they pick up your file, they will send you a request to send pictures and other proof. I'd suggest gather all proofs now. In case they ask for it. Good luck and please keep us posted. Thanks!

How close to the interview date should our supporting documents be dated (i-134 with evidence, renewed letter of intent etc)? Our papers were sent on to NVC a little less than a week ago, but I have no idea how long it will take for me to get an interview date set. My fiance knows which documents he'll need to procure and has said it won't take long to get them sorted. Will it matter if the documents are dated a month or more before my interview, or is it of little to no importance as long as it is fairly recent?

If your Embassy schedules your interview fairly quickly once they receive it then I would sign and date it soon. For me the Embassy in Ghana schedules them about 6-8 weeks out once they receive your case. I have to wait for a while before I can sign and date mine.

Letters of intent should be within 30 days - I sent multiple ones to my fiancé and he will take the one that's appropriate based on interview date. I have not found the I-134 info but I would think it would be similar. Ours is dated in February - assuming a March interview. Fingers crossed.

Me too!!! It's really not necessary after all the wait we've been through at TSC.

No it isn't and I don't see why they are holding them. They assign a case number why not just send it out once that is done. Two weeks at NVC is just wrong! LOL
