Got mail from USCIS informing me that my case has been transferred to Dept of State yesterday Feb. 24... We were approved on Feb 13.

Please anyone with idea of how long NVC would get this case and assign case # then send to Nigeria consulate finally?

It took us two weeks. We never got notice of when our case was transferred. We were approved on Feb 3rd.....case Received on Feb 17th and called and received our case number on Feb 19th.

Still no appointments available. My fiancée found a phone number for the embassy. When she called, the person who answered the phone wouldn't even listen to her. The embassy employee stopped her mid-sentence and transferred her to a recording telling her to visit the embassy website. Unbelievable...

Hey guys…quick question. The packet 3 the consulate emailed didn't have any attachments, It said to go to travel.state.gov to download the packet 3…but i can't find it there. It also wants me to submit a ds-2001….which i can't find either.

I emailed the consulate and told them that I can't find DS-2001 on the DoS website or USCIS. They told me to just google it. But even that I'm not sure sure about, I do see the form…but it's a 4 year old version. And it says to submit the DS230 along with it….but the consulate isn't asking for a DS230.

Definitely any day now! Ours was just received at the embassy and we had NOA2 1/15/15.... still that month seemed so fast after TSC.
