I still need my translated birth certificate and my police certificate. Other than that mostly I got about 10 pictures, ticket confirmstions and I'm wondering about Skype logs. We are having 12+ hours phone conversations haha.

To be honest most of my things were gathered after we had noa1. Even tho I knew we were at turtle service center, I wanted to be ready.

And my cat hates me lol. But it had to be done sadly

Do you happen to know how long it takes to get a police certificate in Canada? My fiance is in Vancouver and he hasn't ordered one yet. I know he needs to do that ASAP, but I was wondering what the turn around time is.

It took 15days from the time the file arrived at NVC. I was told that it really depends on the country the beneficiary comes from as to how and when file gets shipped. If your finance/fiancee is from a country that infrequently processes K1s then the file is sent as it becomes ready. If on the other hand, you are from a country that has quite a few applications then files are gathered and sent in batches - about every two weeks or sooner if the volume warrants.

Also, the method of shipping DHL v US Mail is also consulate dependent.
